The season runs from March 1st to December 15th Dorado Fishing in
Goya Better known as the Freshwater Dorado, this is the strongest, most combative fish that populates our waters. The ferocity of hooking on to this fish and the combat that it offers, makes this fishing an unforgettable experience. The Dorado’s strike is extremely violent, and seeing it taking a fly drifting across the surface of the water is a breathtaking experience. This makes Dorado fishing different from any other. Our headquarters is located in the province of Corrientes, Argentina, in the City of Goya, and at the banks of the Parana river. This area is also home of huge cat fish like Surubi, Manguruju and the fruit eating Pacu. Goya offers its visitors a paradisiacal fishing destination. The Parana river, with it's intricate delta, and The Santa Lucia, The Batel and the magnificent Corrientes rivers, which flow from the heart of the Ibera swamp, constitute an extensive scale of options for the fisherman. The subtropical climate of the region and the abundance of water allows the flora and fauna to give the fishing day an incredible frame. Anglers can cast comfortably in wide, suitable crafts and if the water level allows, wade from the sand banks and small islands. Most Dorado will average 3 to 10 lbs, however fish of 20 + lbs are frequently caught. The best season for Dorado fishing is from September though May. The maximum number of anglers is 6 and the minimum is 3. Accommodations are at an exclusive house on the banks of the Parana River. Cost: $520 per day
