Frequently Asked
Questions
General Information:
Q - How do I go about booking a hunt with you?
A - First of all we suggest you go through our web site thoroughly to answer
most of your questions. Then determine what you want to hunt, during what time
of year, and how many people will be in your group. Then contact our hunt
coordinator, Debbie, and she will provide you with available dates. Once a date is
agreed upon, we will need a deposit of $1,000. We can only hold dates for you for
a limited time until we receive a deposit. She will then help you with all the
information you will need.
Q- How do I get my gun permits and hunting license?
A- Our hunt coordinator will guide you step by step to get all the necessary
paperwork you will need for your trip.

Q - Do I need to register any guns I am taking with me with US customs before
departing for Argentina?
A - Yes, you should register your guns as well as any other personal
effects such as cameras, scopes, etc. with US Customs before leaving to
Argentina. This is done to provide proof of ownership upon your return to the
United States. Please contact your local US Customs to inquire about Form 4457.

A - No, however, anytime you travel to a foreign county you should check
with the US Department of Health for information on any possible current
changes.
Q - What do I need to bring?

A - The Estancia is the lodge or house on private land where you will be
staying. We have two in the dove hunt area, "La Macarena" which accommodates up
to 18 hunters and "El Rocio" which accommodates up to 16 hunters. We also have 2
estancias for duck hunting; one is "El Picazo" in Santiago del Estero that
accommodates up to 10 hunters and the other "Yatay" lodge in the province of
Santa Fe which can accommodate up to 12 hunters. In 2010 we will open our newest
Built Lodge” La Peregrina” in Santiago del Estero. This will be our largest
Modern Lodge.
Q - If we have a small group, will we have to share the Estancia with another
group of hunters?
A - You must have a group of at least 4 hunters for doves or 4 hunters for
ducks in order to have the Lodge exclusively for your group of hunters. We do
not mix groups unless requested to do so. If you have a group less than 4 we
could add you on to other groups on request. Or there will be an extra cost.
Your hunt coordinator will help you with this.

We always have group leaders looking for extra hunters to reduce the rates on
the dove hunting packages. Please ask our hunt coordinator about this.
