The Blue/Gray or Spotted Pigeon, also known as the Blue Rock Pigeon and better known in Argentina as “Pichon”, is one of this country’s most fascinating game birds. They are not only fast flyers, they decoy quite well and are found by the thousands. It is not uncommon for a hunter to fire over 1,000 rounds in one day.
For our Pigeon hunts there is a set limit of 250 birds per day, per hunter.
Although the Pigeon hunting is available year round, the best time to hunt them is between April and October.

$750 per person/day in Santiago del Estero.
$350 per/day for Non – Hunters

Cactus Lodge
Cactus Lodge is located in the province of Santiago del Estero, approximately 3 hour driving time from the airport. This lodge can accommodate up to 8 hunters. It has 4 air conditioned rooms of double occupancy with private bathrooms.
Cactus Lodge has a spacious living room with satellite television, a stocked complementary bar and a beautiful dining room where you can enjoy authentic Argentine “asados” with our famous Argentine beef, fine Argentine wines and many delicious traditional cuisine.
For your convenience the lodge provides complementary laundry service and Wi-Fi. We also have a gift shop where you can purchase souvenirs or book a massage from our masseuse service.
