The most frequently asked questions regarding
High Volume Dove Hunts in Cordoba
What do I need to bring?
Don't leave home without a good shoulder recoil pad and eye and ear protection are a must. Also, it's always a good idea to bring along rain gear, a warm jacket, and a pouch for your shells, a pair of thin soft shooting gloves and of course all your other personal items.
How far is the dove hunting area from the lodges?
Depending on the time of year and crop harvest the hunting areas may be just outside of the lodge door or up to a 30 minute drive away.
How do I pay for the extra shells that are not included in my hunting package?
You may pay for extra shells in Argentina with US Dollars in cash or by credit card. You may also pre-pay extra shells with us before going on the trip by credit card, cash or check. Any unused boxes of shells will be refunded to you. Open boxes with partial use will not be refunded.
Will I be able to shoot all of the shells included in my package?
Yes, with the amount of birds available you can easily shoot 1,000 to 1,500 shells daily. Keep in mind that every individual is different which will affect the amount of shells fired.
What is the cost of additional shells?
Additional boxes are $23.00 USD for 20 gauge.

What grams of powder and no. will we be shooting?
Normally 28 grams of powder and 7 1/2 - 8 lead shot.
What is the best way to fly to Cordoba?
We recommend flying to Cordoba on LAN Chile which arrives into Cordoba via Santiago, Chile. This flight will get you into Cordoba early enough to hunt the first ½ day. Please contact us for updated information on flights.
Is this a full 4 day hunting package?
Yes, you will hunt a ½ day on arrival date, then you will hunt 3 full days and the last day you will hunt a ½ day for a total of 4 full hunt days.
Can we combine the dove hunt with waterfowl or pigeon shooting?
Yes, we can customize any hunt. Please, contact us regarding rates and hunting dates availability
How will you keep track of how many birds I shoot?
Each hunter will have a Bird Boy assigned to them daily the day which will keep count of all of the birds you shoot.
What is the job of the Bird Boys, besides keeping track of how many birds I bring down?
The Bird Boys are responsible for the following:
Keep track of how many shells you shoot by saving all of your empty boxes, Make sure you have plenty of cool drinks and snacks available at all times, Keep your pouch filled with shells, Retrieve all of your birds, Pick up all empty shell casings at the end of your shoot, Carry your gear to the field and set up your blind and Display your birds for photo opportunities.
How much should I tip the Bird Boys and staff?
Tips for the Bird Boys is $ 50.00 USD per day, (please pay them directly in cash in US currency) and $50.00 USD per day for the Lodge Staff.
If I want to add an extra day of shooting to the Dove package hunt, how much will it cost?
Additional daily rates for hunters that want to extend their stay are:
Daily fee $450.00 USD per hunter per day, hunting license $75.00 USD per hunter per day, gun rental $70.00 USD per hunter per day, any additional shells at $23.00 per box and tips for bird boys and staff.
